As the title says above. I ordered these coilovers and never had the chance to install them. They were ordered 7/5/05 and arrived 4 days later. My SC400 is now sold to a new owner, and I no longer have a use for these. They are BRAND NEW, NEVER USED. These Tein's are absolutley spotless and clean. Included is the following:



-Tein Basic Coilovers
-Instructions
-Adjustment Tool
-Tein stickers + Badging (NEVER REMOVED FROM PACKAGING)

It's my understanding that Basics' dont fit SC300???

 

When I spoke to Tein they said there were no issue fitments with the 300. comments, corrections anyone using basics?

 

Tein Basic fits with no problem on the SC300/400 and MKIV.

They do work, there are members here using the Tein Basic right now. The Tein Basics are made for the Supra MKIV, but since they share the same chassis as the SC300/400, they fit with absolutely no problem.

This is extremely incorrect. Please do not spread misinformation. You're probably asking them about SC's when you should be asking them about Supra's. It has been well documented that Tein Basic Coilover part number #DSL18-LUSS2 fits with no issues on the 92-00 SC300/400. Good luck guys

Sorry, I dont mean to spread any misinfo, I asked Tein if the Basics would fit a 2000 SC300. Their response was no. I will call again and get the techs name and repost his answer. Again I appologize if the info was incorrect.

 

OK-so I called Tein again, they said the confusion (on their part) was that their book does not show the SC as an application for these coil overs and that they are untested (for SCs). After consulting with another tech they understood that it was the same as a Supra and they would work. Sorry for any cofusion.
