I dunno depends on preference I guess. The SSQ is brand new while the Type S is used. I'm currently running a SSQ on my car though.

The Type S makes a high pitch squeek, while the SSQ just sounds like air releasing. I thought the SSQ would have that fluttering sound I been hearing about, but it didn't.

I think with the SSQ, it'll work with the MAF.

EDIT; the Type S just sold on SF.
