My driver side switch does not roll down either window, but the passenger switch rolls down the passenger window. Is this typically the case of the regulator going out? If so, I will take the driver side.

could be the regulator or the driver side switch, either or both are known to fail. i suggest giving direct power to the motor to eliminate the switch.
