is this different from the stock motor?
i've heard about people doing the 1jz switch on their engine, i might be interested if you can kind of explain to me what it is and what are the benefits over stock

must be new to the jz stream huh? well this motor comes stock for toyota soarers in japan (soarer is sc300) and also i believe they are in mk3 supra in japan also. lexus sc300 come with 2jzge which is the non turbo mkiv supra but this is a popular swap for both usdm mk3 and the sc300 cause its cheap and yet has pretty good potential. 280 hp stock + higher revving compared to 2j+ cost = very good bang for your buck

pretty much. i have a deposit on it. which means somone is commited to buying it. but the transaction isnt completely done. so it might be on the market again if he falls through

still waiting for the person to pay off fully since he gave me a deposit. btw sc_sauce'd is the person who gave the deposit. If he does not follow through with the payments he promised by the end of the year then It will be put back up for sale. BTW just to clarify a "deposit" is like putting a downpayment in commitment to buy. so i pronounce it as sold so basically he has "dibs" since he put money down in it. If he fails to pay it in the specified time then i keep the deposit and put it back on sale cause this just wasted about 2 months where i could have already sold it. Is this about accurate? feel free to correct
