I have a question about he stock SC400 1993 struts and shocks. If you place Espelirs on them - what will their lifespan be before they blow their guts out and you have to buy new struts and shocks?
I'm not entirely an expert but I do know that stock struts and shocks are meant for a certain ride height and are valved from the factory for that height. When you change their operating height with lowering springs your putting more pressure on the internals and will / should *blow* them up sooner.
I guess the question is - how much time should you get out of them on Espelirs before they fail on average? 1 month...4 months, 6 months, 1 year, or more?
The reason I ask is that I have the money to buy these right now.... but I just don't know if they will work on my stock struts for long enough to get the money for properly designed lowering application struts.
