i just did that conversion on my 93 sc 300, the 2 buttons were for the tiptronic ****er but you can probably make them work on a nitrous system or for flashing lights when you pass someone without having to click on your headlights a million uses but on mine i used the old plug from the old airbag and soldered the plug on the wires but you must disconnect all power that is the battery before you even start to remove and replace the wheel

On my automatic, I hooked up the ECT button. The top bottons on the wheel were to control the Power and the two buttons on the back of the wheel werre to control Snow. The Snow one worked fine; I could not get the power to work. The button on our switches for Snow and Power beileive it or not, are two different kinds on the same switch...but I was really close.
BTW: it is really easy to make those buttons work the horn. You just connect the buttons' ground to the horn wire.
