Will the speedometer read correctly after this swap ? If no is there any way to recalibrate it so it does ? Car is a a 95 sc300 auto
Your SC300 auto has 4.27 gears to this LSD with 3.76. Your speedometer will read ~12% low as a result. It will read 53mph when you are actually going 60mph.
However, this can definitely be recalibrated. There are universal speedo recalibraters out there. Dakota Digital comes to mind. Their unit is like $75.

For traction, it is all worth it in my opinion.
The manual supra LSD is 3.13. This unit is only good for people putting in a 6-speed or even a th400. This unit is not good for a stock auto tranny or W58. If you put this in you also need a supra passenger side axle as it is wider then the auto unit.

He is selling an auto Supra TT Torsen LSD which is 3.76
It does fit in the 2nd gen GS, I would highly recommend this mod if you are NOT going FI - if you are FI you have a good chance of hitting the rev limiter with this unit.
