FS: Soarer 1jz/r154/TRD twindisc clutch
Havent had any time to do this swap and its been almost two years so im going to post it up for sale. I went through alot to get the parts together for what i have so lowballers please dont bother. Original clip was purchased through gspeed corp in hawthorne, ca. The motor set is possibly the cleanest motorset ive seen to date but, because it hasnt been installed, everything is being sold as is. Pickup or shipping is to be arranged by the buyer at the buyer expense. Pickup in Corona, Ca.
1JZ motor out of a 96 soarer. This is the motorset that has a few updates from the 92 series motor. Auto harness is COMPLETE AND ALREADY EXTENDED. A few minor wiring modifications need to be made to accomodate the alternator, but there are threads that can explain them. I will include the plugs i took off of a spare wiring harness that are required so that you dont have to hack up your existing harness. Timing belt was changed recently according to gspeed. Valve cover gaskets were replaced.
ECU is out of a 5speed.

Yeah i bet you didnt expect that one. This i got through another member. This is for the tranny, bellhousing, and shifter. I will also include the slave cylinder youll need. To make the deal even sweeter, i will include a soarer driveshaft.

TRD TWIN DISC CLUTCH
Brand new rear disc, resurfaced faces that contact the rear disc. Front disc still has plenty of life. bearing set already mounted on the pressure plate for easy install. Took 5 months to get a new rear disc from TRDjapan.
$1100 (retails for $1600)
Everything together for $3300. Ill also include misc odds and ends i have around the garage that go with it. Willing to consider trades for a complete usdm 2jzgte motorset (no tranny or intercooler needed)

I am adopting the school now...car now philosophy. but, I am employed full time going to grad school: perhaps a bit different.
I hope everyone realizes just how rare these parts have become and how sweet this deal is.
If this thread was up here two weeks ago, I would take the entire trans/bell/slave/shaft from you. But, I am taking a different plan of attack.

Id love to do the school now, car now philosophy but i found i just dont have time for both. somehow during my undergrad years i made time for school, my car AND a girlfriend but somehow i lost my mojo or something because its just not happening anymore.

Is this the 94- Soarer trans with the swan-neck shifter or the 95+ Soarer trans with the remote shofter housing?
