I have two SC400 transmissions:

$250 without bellhousing
$300 with bellhousing

Local pick preferred but can help in shipping arrangement.

Yeah.... Come pick it up or I can arrange shipping. Lots of 2JZ have them for high power application.

 

Sounds about right. My roommate just picked up a spare one out of a 600HP Chevelle for $75 locally, and a friend of mine at work got one for free because the guy didn't know what shape it was in. I have no idea why people are paying $4000 for them.

 

Getting one is not hard. Getting it into a Toyota is.

That is why people are willing to spend $4000 for a kit.

Regardless, this trans can take a pounding.

I dont know why people charge some much for the conversion. Plate and torque converter and mounts with few other misc things.

 

Does this come with any mounting parts and etc? Also is this a streetable tranny or for drag only I would be putting it into my Daily driver. I wouldn't mind putting this into my 1jz sc300 setup. What part of Cali are you in I might be able to pickup and pay cash.

 

I am in Diamond Bar. I do have the tranny mount for the TH400 (chevy but need to mod to work with SC3)along with the Yoke. Just give me another 20 bucks you can have it all.

Turbo Hydramatic 400, it's a GM transmission.

 

The yoke can be modified to work with the SC300? Check your PM please!
