car-puter, custom center consol
well i had a beautiful 2000 sc300 black on black untill some *** decided to pull right infront of me and destroyed it...... long story; short- i bought an is300 and no longer need the sc3 parts and projects i was working on..... so i figured i throw them up forsale on here and see if anyone wants them....
what i did is take a center console and cut the center out where the radio and ac where and molded in a 10.4 inch samsong tft lcd touch screen and molded the scock ac bezel under it..... i made it completly modular... so that you can unscrew the back of the lcd monitor and take the back and guts of the lcd out and the ac unit u can take out as well....it is truly a work of art ... the lcd is not to big where it bcome flashy.... it is a true touch samsong computer sceen. it still has that clear screen protecting sticker that new electronics have ...i hhavent takin it off because its still new....
the screen is made by samsung.... i am encluding an a/c bezel and ac head unit.... and an ash tray unit.....
i am a perfectionist so i would say its 98% done it needs maybe one more coat of flat black paint and it would look completly like it came stock in the car....the lcd cost me 400 dollors the bezel cost me 90 $ the ac bezel / head unit was 90$ the crazy amount of hours i put into molding and sanding and wet sanding and painting are priceless but worth it to have this amazing one of kind consol....i no longer need it because i no longer ahve an sc300..it breaks my heart to see somthing i worked so hard on go .. im looking to get 550 -600 but id consider resonable offers...its worht triple thats to me and double thats in the cost of the parts it toook to make, let alon the labor...its realy a work of art

let me clarify... this is just the console and lcd screen to make the carputer work u need an actual computer made for such a thing.... mp3car.com sells them for resonable price.....THIS IS JUST THE MONITOR(lcd) AND CONSOLE.....

damn... such a sweet SC down.. sorry to hear. and DAMN THATS A SICK SETUP!... I need to make more money.. =(...

the car got hit about 2 days after i finish it..... figures, right... i never go around to instaling it but i made sure that the perimiter of the original bezel did not get changed so the fit is going to be the same. if u have to trim or cut a little crap thats behind the bezel to mont the consol of im not sure because i never got that far. but i know the new components are much smaller in depth then the old ones so there souldent have to be anything other then light modifications to the bracket aalready in the dash to mount it. far less then if you put an after market head unit in...just my thoughts
