My SC is Power steeringless So It's time for me to get her up and running so I don't destroy the rack and pinion.

I'm looking to buy a great condition 93 sc300 High Pressure Steering Hose thats from the steering rack to the power steering reservoir.

I know one of you Lexus guys out there as a great condition one for me so let me know!

 

Truthfully its better off to have it rebuilt by a professional hose shop. You will spend as much with them as you would buying a used one.

Thanks for the advise, I'm going to get a price quote today. I think you have a good point. Unofrtunatly mine is slightly damaged and the metal core inside the hose is dented.

My goal is to get back to driving my SC.

I DEFINITLY don't wanna deal with the jerks at the local lexus dealership who want $450 for a brand new one.

 

driftmotion.com sells a stainless steel one for about $70.

PS leak is a common issue in these cars, and there IS a cheap, reliable, easy solution.

 

I just bought a 97 replacement from Aliga. Can't wait to see it in the mail.

Though, that upgrade looks good for the future.

 

Aliga sent me the wrong part, and refunded me (he is quite the businessman). I bought the driftmotion stainless steel ps hose. It works wonderfully I reccomend it to anyone.
