If I were to buy these and open them up, What kind of glue did you use to seal them? I know the factory stuff releases with heat, not the case with other glues and silicon.

i think O.L.T. said he used some black silicone 2 that he got from ACE when he cleaned his..
i'd definetly recommend opening these up, the previous owner did the retro fit and i don't know what he used to seal them but it didn't do a very good job.
i personally think putting in chrome shrouds would make these headlights look brand new.

Guys, This is a heck of a deal, I am almost ready to buy these. I could have bought them just for the Projectors. I just spent $400 On a set of BMW ballast, igniters, shrouds and projectors. Throw in all the custom fabrication to retro fit, I am wondering why I didnt just buy these and use them for parts.
I still may buy them.

thanks for the bumps guys.... I'm tempted to just rip them apart and sell the projectors, ballasts, and stuff seperate (prolly worth more) lol

the previous owner painted the chrome bezels black, they look good black depending on the car i guess. if you wanted them to look stock though, all you would need to do is take the chrome piece out of your headlights and put them inside these and take the black ones out.

yessir plug and play... just open up your stock headlights and use the chrome shroud out of those and you got a nice set of delined oem looking retro's!
