I was looking into getting the Injen short ram intake (black) for my 92' SC300, anybody know a good place or anybody selling one? also any other suggestion on something else? Im open to other options

hey man might wanna look into this as a cheap alternative.. i plan on boosting my sc so i just threw something cheap together..

you can pretty much get everyone on ebay, need a intake pipe, K&N style filter, and a MAF adapter.


i was installing it in this pic so you might see a bolt or two missing but this is pretty much how it turned out..

i can't remember what car the intake pipe was made for but i had to cut a little off the long side to make it short enough..








here's a pic of a actual injen intake on a 2jzge, really similar except mine cost like $40 to make.

You need an adapter? doessnt the injen kit come with everything you need? Ive seen picture of the short ram intake withotu using the MAF, Am I wrong?

the injen comes with a maf adapter just like the picture of it above.

LOL you only need 2 bolts to hold the adapter to the MAF right? haha

There is a K&N one on ebay that $70......is that just as good? or should I spend the $250 on the Injen?

maybe if you read, you can see it was in the middle of installation when i took the pic. would a picture of it now with all four bolts in make you feel better?

Yes, I just said it incase you want to cut the price in half by making your own.
The ebay one is just the filter with the adapter, so it is not a short ram intake.

I know it not up right now but its $70 and it DOES come with a pipe from the seller who had it

BFI for a couple of dollars... way better than Injen.
