Wish I could take a picture for you, but my SC has been sold for a while. So, I cannot do this for you.
If you check around on the forums there are plenty of people who have fitted this and other 7" monitors in the center console. For reassurance maybe you could just grab a ruler and measure the distance from one corner to the other corner diagonally across.
Does this have a plug on it so i could plug it up to my laptop or a bigger screen to see better? Not sure what it is called but some kind of output out plug. Thanks

Yes, it has a VGA output plug so you can just plug it into a monitor or laptop if you need. I've actually done this when I first got the computer and didn't have the touch screen yet.
