full swap, 1jz/r154 soarer, fmic, shafts...everything u need
Complete 5-speed swap, running and driving with all parts to onvert to manual tranny.
includes.
clutch pedal set, master cylinder, mating hose for clutch, and slave cyl (r154)
r154 manual tranny (soarer) clutch is good, has no problems, smooth shifting tranny.
Driveshaft sections front and rear incl. carrier bearing to mate new engine and tranny
to the rearend of your car, orig r154 shifter, crossmember and tranny mount.
interior bezel that surrounds shifter and shifter boot.
1jzgte (soarer) with wiring harness (already extended), ignitor and ecu.
pulls strong, runs well. Only notable flaw is that I have not gone through all
vacuum lines and therefore it idles a little high right now.
upper and lower radiator hoses, and new engine mounts from carson toyota with under 1000 miles on them.
FMIC (ebay) i believe it was 11x3x20 ? id have to double check, I purchased more than
i needed right away because I knew one day I would push the limits of a smaller
intercooler, so you can upgrade quite a bit before this intercooler will not fill your needs.
all associated piping and plumbing for intercooler is included and pre-cut/arranged.
(have had a handfull of full boost pulls and not popped off any tubes).
You see, essentially you will get everything needed to turn your stock auto or manual
into a 1jz equipped r154 sporting 5-speed. (r154 holds tons more power than w58)
without the headache of hunting down parts, waiting for things to arrive, stopping to wait
for something that got forgotten and leaving your car lifeless while you collect all the
items that didnt get come with a swap.
Im in san diego, local purchase only. The engine and all parts are currently in a car,
you can start it, drive it, leak down test it, compression test it, whatever makes'
you feel good. NO ENGINE IMPORTER CAN OFFER YOU THIS. after you decide it works for you,
leave a deposit and then come pick up your very complete swap after its pulled.
the only thing you will have to sort out is your power steering(sc400 resivoir). I didnt use it.

ebay sells just the soarer r154 for 2500 plus ship, I waited over a year with money in hand to find a quality soarer r154 swap set.
not parting out.

If you don't mind me asking why are you going through the trouble of pulling out the engine and tranny out when it appears that you only put it in about last winter? Are you putting it back to stock? and when are you planning to pull everything out?

truth is, i got an e46 coupe, 5-speed, 330. it makes me drool everytime i look at it and every second im behind the wheel of the lexus im wishing I ws driving it. i love the lexus, the swap came towards then end of a 4 year stretch of ownership, it seems to have greater value in parts than as a whole car. so. long story short, im just kind of over the coupe, the power is much stronger in the lex after the swap, but its still just not the same driving exp as the bmr. there was a time when i would stand in my garage and look at the lex for 15-20 minutes at a time, now i dont. If the engine set doesnt sell I will probably hold onto the whole set and shoehorn it into something older for ****s and grins. its a pretty nice engine set and the r154 makes it pretty hard to come by anymore. and i know it runs great.

comes with everything, you will need only to sort out power steering, serious buyers can come look at car, and drive setup. i can get pics, but it is not fancy looking, just a 1jz with fmic.

uh, i am still selling, i am still in california, and i guess if you want to pay through paypal you can cover all shipping and paypal expenses. i really prefer you find someone u know locally to deal with me though.
