Default Selling my SC300 Turbo

It's for sale! I'm looking to get low $20k's for it. That is *FAR* below what I've put into it. I've had the car exactly a year as of 4/20.

First off, it needs:

Tires - Kumho 245/40/18 set of 4 is less than $600

Alignment - $69

Turbo cartridge - $300-400, or whole new turbo for $500 or so. The turbo is leaking oil around the wheel, causing the engine to burn oil. Idles and drives perfect.

Now for the good stuff:

1993 Lexus SC300 Turbo, 5-speed, 74k miles, turbo'd since 58k. Stage 5 clutch has 8k on it, no slippage. Tranny has 68k on it, it was pulled from a 95 Supra N/A.

Compression on pistons from front to back:

1 - 158
2 - 158
3 - 161
4 - 157
5 - 159
6 - 155

So the engine is tip top. Runs smooth, blows oil because of the turbo, still runs like a champ and pulls 12sec quarters on street tires.

The front lip is cracked at the bottom, I'll get some pictures of it tonight, but until then just check out the gallery on my website for pics of it http://www.LexusTuner.com/gallery.html . In the gallery the car has stickers on the front fender, those are removed to it looks much smoother. There are no dents on the car, it's never been wrecked.

Interior is in great shape. THe drivers seat shows a few small cracks (not thru the leather, but just the shine) on the left side where you get in and out, but I'm goign to condition it and I'm sure those will disappear. There is one small cut in the "***" area of the back right seat, about 1/2", from a durn Dell server that I set there.

If you have any questions, email me at CmputerWiz@aol.com.

Finally....WHY am I selling it? Time for a new project, I've had this car exactly a year, that's the limit. I've got a different Lexus project to work on now.

I like the car, but the two tones and the wing is too ricy. Want to trade my Supercharged Cobra? With additonal $10,000 from you.

I'll give you 16k for it. That breaks my bank, leaving no money for the turbo, but I'll deal .

I wish I could offer more.

There's *no* way I could go below 20's on this thing, that would be crazy. One of these with low miles and NO mods would sell for that at a dealer. Adding the stereo alone its to 20, let alone another 15k in just turbo parts and electronics, not including install cost!

Well to be honest CmputerWiz, I almost took out a 5k lone in order to buy your car, but I cant . I like it that much. I didn't expect to get it for 16k, but as I said before, thats all I can offer.

Good luck selling it, and the offer does stand, on the impossible chance that someone isn't willing to pay more for it.

Matt

PS Contrary to popular belief, Jetta owners do not lick their cars!!
