Considering I want to keep a large amount of parts off of the car I currently have, I am selling the motor and transmission, which I don't want to use on the next build. The reason I dont want to use the setup is I don't need a trans that will hold 900hp or 6 gears. I dont need the GTE because I want to build a GE and go NA-t.

If the car in AR sells, this thread will be locked. I cant go without a DD, so thats the deal. I really dont care what you think about it, if you arent here to buy the trans or engine PLEASE DO NOT POST. I dont care if you think my prices are too high. Dont bother posting.

The engine and trans are both in the car and are ready to be taken out.

Engine rebuilt not too long ago. Could use some valve cover gaskets.

Trans has 0 grinds and shifts super smooth. The clutch is relatively new.



The ENGINE will include:

Head

Block

intake manifold

exhaust manifold

uncut harness

ECU

ARP head studs

Thicker head gasket

HKS 264 cams

Turbo



The TRANS will include:

Getrag V160

Stage 4 clutch and pressure plate

shifter

sensors

Ok I posted this in another forum that I am on. I am a little bit angry so I just want to get this cleared up.
I just want to post this out there. I WILL NOT TRADE THE MOTOR AND TRANS. and... DO NOT LOWBALL ME LIKE I JUST GOT LOWBALLED.

what year of shifter 93-95 or 97-98 if its usdm V160 also does it have inspection plates

Yeah I definatly got over the lowball. I am pretty sure I have the engine sold and POSSIBLY the transmission sold.
I am not really sure if it is a JDM or a USDM transmission however the motor I know is out of a JDM supra. Tell me how to find out and I will get to it!

Ok from what reasearch I did, I found out that I have what appears to be a USDM transmission. The top mounts where the two upper bolts go in are the same as what I have (V160). I did find this just to clear things up.
"The gearing is different, that's really the only difference. Everything else is identical between similar year V160 and V161's. The only advantage really of the V161 is that you're guaranteed to have the newer design case and synchros, etc. versus the V160 which may be the older style, or the newer style."
