I have an A/C Brain only, NO screen. The brain is from a year model that had amber (orange) lighting. If your current screen is green or some other color, this brain will work, but the fan goes to MAX and stays there. I can't find a date code on it anywhere. I bought it NOT knowing the year, because I needed the screen. I put an amber screen on my daughters 1993 brain, and everything works great, thus I have the extra A/C Controller Brain, but no screen. For clarification, this is a brain only with no screen. The brain drives a screen with amber lighting (94+ ???). I used the amber screen with my original brain (93, Green Screen) so that the fan would work on functions other than HI. These brains will interchange, but on some years (I don't know which ones) when a new brain is installed, the fan works on HI only. The functions all work on the A/C, Defrost, Floor, Heat and Cool. Only issue is that the fan stays on HI. Also, the small wire bundle is missing. I messed up the one from my original brain and had to scavenge this one. They are easy to unhook, just unhook from the Brain only. Use SEARCH to see how this is done.
