^^ Nah, MAP stands for Manifold Absolute Pressure, with pressure (as in boost) being the key word. Since a stock SC sees no boost and only stock fuel delivery, there's little (no) sense in it.

most importantly, it allows you to tune the engine in relation to manifold pressure, something the na ecu has no idea about. It allow you to run larger injectors and then do a customized remapping of fuel tables. Monitoring and logging of engine operation parameters, etc., etc., etc.
This is all pretty basic stuff for an NA-T setup, you NEED some kind of enhanced engine management to properly operate an engine with boost.
