Whats a map sensor? maybe a maf sensor? mass air flow?

Really???? You need more clarification, 1jz run a speed density system=map sensor, MAF=Mas air flow sensor, 1jz don't have that.. USDM MKIV supra, SC300, SC400 have MAF sensors....
