I have had both the LS400 and the Supra TT front calipers on my car. If you can afford to pay the extra money then you should definitely but the TT setup. The TT rear upgrade makes a really big difference for a future modification. Anyway, just some advice and FYI.....
Good luck.

^, They are slightly different with the use of a larger rotor. For the average driver, the LS calipers would be plenty at roughly half the cost of the TT set up.

LS400 calipers weigh less but rotors weigh more than corresponding TT. TT rotors are bigger. I compared OEM LS400 calipers, pads, rotors to OEM TT calipers, pads and rotors. The TT stopped better and felt more predictable. Yes, TT calipers are more expensive which is why I stated "if you an afford to pay the extra money". If you only want to upgrade from stock SC caliper than the LS400 calipers make a noticeable difference. Again, the rear TT caliper upgrade makes a huge difference in how the car feels. Anyway, I am not trying to talk you out of the LS400 setup. They are both upgrades but one is better than the other if your pockets are deep enough.
Good luck.

Yes, OEM TT rear calipers are two piston calipers with a larger rear rotor and they will fit perfectly under the TT wheels. These are difficult to find used because people tend to hold on to them. You can pick them up new at Champion Toyota in Houston for around $275 each. Again, not cheap but very well worth it. Call Champion and ask for Viet.

1995-2000 LS400 calipers are four piston, non-floating calipers and would be the only ones that would be an upgrade. These are direct fit, bolt-on, replacements for your 1992-2000 SC. Perhaps, you could make the calipers on the first generation LS400 (1990-1994) work as well but why would you want to since the stopping power would likely be no different than what originally came on your SC.

Many, many, many threads on how to do this in the Suspension and Brakes forum. Search for LS400 Brakes or LS400 BBK (Big Brake Kit).

Good luck.

Your could go on car-part.com and find some locally at a yard for a really good price. You can even make them a low-ball offer and it will probably get accepted. That's that best deal imo.
