Why would you prefer the Eibachs over the Tanabe?

The Tanabe is a .2" lower drop in the front if i'm not mistaken. Most people say after they installed the Eibachs didnt even really notice a drop. But the same review somewhat goes for Tanabe. The Tanabe springs are a drop you can notice, but it may not be enough for whatever it is you are trying to go for. I was dissappointed with the drop. But the ride is still great.

Things to think about!

Totally agree. I just did the Tanabe spring on mine and can tell its been dropped. Over an inch in the front and maybe 3/4 in the rear or so. Keeo in mind tbey have settled either. I say tanabe over eibach. JMO

Which tanabe springs are we talking about here? I think the drop in front is an inch while the rear is. .99"...??? It does not sit that low but is it safe to cut them?

The NF210 is what I used. I am overall very happy with the drop. I am NOT looking for a dragging rear and front end.

are these the springs that lowers the front 1.0 inch and .99 inch in the rear?
i want more drop than this, definitely. if i cut them, will it be ok? how will the ride be? i was thinking of cutting 1/2 coil all around.

i can always get the eibachs pros but it does not give a big drop. i dont want to spend $$$ on coil overs as i have better plans for the car.

These lowered my car by their specifications. 1.2" in the front and 1" in the rear. Youmay be able able to cut them on the top, but you will get bashed on here for cuting them. Some people have seem to have got away with it, some are totally against it. To me its unsafe, and not predictable. The suspension is something not to mess around with. JMO. Good luck on your search for lowering springs. Your best bet is to buy some Esplier springs. There are very few people who can even get them. They drop appr. 2.1" all the way around, they were just too low for me and my current setup. I dont like these SC's slammed. JMO.
