2jz AEM EMS v1
I have a AEM EMS v1 for sale. The unit has been sitting in storage for awhile now. It needs to get sent to AEM for repair which I have never gotten around to doing. When I called them I was told its $75 for them to check it out and then the part which would be a total of $150-$175. Seeing how its almost $2000 new, if anyone wants to mess with it, I will let it go for $500.

From when I called AEM this is what I understood. Apparently there is a "driver" that is in the unit that may have been burnt out or it needs to be reset. The tech told me to open it and just remove it and put it back in but I never did it, The AEM is still has the untampered seal on it. I was told I could send it to them and for $75 they will check it out and if the part needed to be replaced it would be like $75 for the part.

Yes, this is for the 2jz-GTE. It comes with the unit, the box, the paperwork, and I believe I have the software for it too, else you can just download the software from AEM. I have the cable that connects to the box.
It should work with the Aristo because the harness is the same 2jz-gte harness. Unit itself is in great physical condition. No dents scratches or anything. Just being very honest with the issue it has which is why the price is so low. I dont want to break the seal myself and I don't have the time to invest in sending it to AEM as I am too caught up in school

I bought the unit brand new from MVPMotorsports.com. I plugged it into my car and the tuner (South Florida Performance) told me that after they tuned the car they disconnected the battery or something along the lines of that and it stopped working. Thats when I called AEM and they told me it was most likely the "driver" that needs to be reseated or replaced.
But to answer your question......I bought it brand new from Dusty at MVP Motorsports. After that happened I just left it alone because I havent had much time to do anything with these cars so they all have been sitting.

After opening the box here is what we have:
AEM EMS unit
COM CABLE
AEM EMS decal
Pins
Original paperwork
BRAND NEW CD IN THE CASE (Tuner probably had the software already so he didn't need it)
Basically everything that comes in the box with the unit is there.
here is a current picture of it that I just took a few minutes ago:
