Ok guy's here's the deal. I dont have any pics of the headers in there current state, as they are still on my car. By the end of this week, ill have all my parts to build my new exhaust system. BUT I will not have my INSTALL money. So im looking to sell my S&S, to have the install money, & shipout the S&S on same day. Im asking $250 shipped. If I were to be the person buying these, id grind down the exsisting "patch job" welds & have them TIG welded.
Facts:
1. They do make 20+ whp
2. They may not be as pretty after being fixed,as new ones. But you cant see them anyway from the top or bottom.
Help me out. These need a new home & so does my new exhaust.
They will fit GS400 98-00 SC400 98-00 LS400 98-00 SC430 GS430 & LS430. Just like all S&S headers, you will have to have the bottom of your exhaust customized to meet the cats that still bolt in stock location.
Pictures? Is the 97 and up that much different that they wouldnt work on the pre 97's? Have a 92 400, thats why I am asking.. Thanks.
98+ doesnt have a EGR system. Your passenger exhaust manifold has a EGR tube going to it. These headers dont have that spot to bolt that up to. You could do a EGR delete kit, from Lextreme & then they would work for you,but you might not want to go down that road. Or you could have the EGR spot drilled & welded to these then that would work too.
Hmm...i may be interested in these! Im deleting my egr valve! why do you say "you may not want to go down that road"?
I only say that, for inspection reason's. I dont know the spacific's on EGR deleate "IE" ckeck engine light & passing emission's. I guess if it will still pass or you have a shop that will hook up a sticker than its all good.
Its Friday & this is the best HP part you can buy for a 400. So someone get it done. 20+whp for $300 shipped on a 400. You cant beat it. Even with exhaust mod. You still cant beat it. Next best thing is a supercharger & you aint gonna get it for 300 shipped.

Its hard to believe 330 views & no one has jumped on these yet. You will not find a cheeper set of 1UZ headers ever, even if they do need a little fixing.
