Hey all enthusiasts,
I ran into a problem with my SC300 that has a 1jz swap. It started leaking oil pretty bad the other day. I took it to the Toyota dealership right away since they've been pretty good to me for the longest time. The cause of the oil leak turned out to be two little hoses that come out from the bottom of the oil pan from one outlet and branch out to go into the turbos. They're old and brittle and leaky.
The 2jzgte replacement hoses (part numbers 15491-46020 and 15492-46020) are too big in diameter and cannot be used. Bummer. After digging on google I came up with the original 1jz parts (numbers 15491-88401 and 15492-88401). However, since the 1jz was never serviced in the US, the dealerships do not have access to those hoses. Bigger bummer!
This is a pic of which hoses they are, not from my car, but same type of engine:

I guess I will have to find some kind of generic hoses. Does anybody know what type of hose would be proper and fit? Can I use antifreeze-type of hoses? Or does anybody know how I could get a hold of those original parts from Toyota?
Any pointers would be greatly appreciated!!
Thanks

Thanks scmaluco for the tip. The Toyota mechanic did put some generic heater hoses that seemed to fit. He just warned me that those might not last and that is why I am searching for the correct type of hoses. In your suggestion, are fuel lines heat resistant? I can imagine the oil running through those hoses must be really hot...
