Scrothe 4-pt Custom ASM Harnesses (street legal)
Hey guys, I have a set of Schroth 4-point ASM street-legal harnesses that were custom modified for use in the SC's. These originally came from a well respected board member here (ScottURnot). I never got around to installing them in my car before I sold it, but I kept them with hopes that I could use them on my current project. Now, as it turns out, I'm going to go yet another route, so I have no use for them.
What makes these unique is their lap belt ends which are all setup for plugging directly into the stock seatbelt receiver on one side, and the other side is made to slip over that slide bar that our cars have. (So there is a harness made just for the left seat and a right seat.) They also come with shoulder pads as shown.
Pics:
These harnesses list new at around $170+ ea. in their generic form, plus another $30 for the harness pads, for a total of about $200 for each side, or $400 for the set.
I am asking $240 shipped, but all reasonable offers will be considered!

Sure, no problem. The quick answer is NO, it doesn't require the harness bar. I guess a few more pics would help too.
So, here's the 'tailpiece' for these:
On one end it has a standard buckle attachment for connecting to the shoulder strap end
and the other end has eye rings for attachment at the rear seatbelt anchor points. They are made so they can coexist with the stock seat belts.
Here are the mounting instructions from Schroth for the belts: http://www.schrothracing.com/sdocs/R...structions.pdf
As you can see they cover a few different models/variations of these belts, but these are the "Rallye 4" belts. On page 10-11 you can see the mounting instructions, and on page 12-13 they show a demonstration pic of these installed in the passenger seat, with another model (**Rallye 3) installed in the driver seat position.
**Note: I think it's worth mentioning that the "Rallye 3" belt is identical to the Rallye 4, except for having the single, non-split tailpiece (intended for the C-pillar mount). Both tailpieces attach with the same buckle at the shoulder straps though, so if you ever did want to go with just a C-pillar mount, you could just buy a replacement tailpiece for the Rallye 3. (They are available separately)
Personally, I prefer the Rallye 4 tailpiece design because it would seem it has twice the attachment strength and it is more centered behind you.
Hope that helps, and let me know if you have any more questions.
