Question 'WTB:Headlight lens swap DIY. Who will do it WELL for money?

Greetings,
Perhaps my search criteria is faulty but I cannot find a DIY for swapping OEM headlight lenses for ebay lenses. I saw a couple posts from people saying they did it (one with soso fitment) but no DIY's at all.

Mostly what I could find was people asking for a DIY, and other people saying "it has been covered hundreds of times" and to "search for it" but no links.

Does anyone know where one is?

The search criteria I used was :
"ebay lens" headlight swap
clear lens swap headlight
retrofit halp projector lens
clear lens headlight swap fit
etc.

Any Ideas?

Anyone know someone willing to do it WELL for money?

(i am primarily interested in the lens swap only but will discuss other reasonable upgrades while in there, like projectors.)

Are u trying to replace the outside lens? Or add a projector lens inside the housing?

Replace outside lenses.
I would discuss projector as well (if reasonable) though.

Instead of replacing have u tried re finishing? I set sanded mine and re cleared and they look good as new. 3 coats of clear just a spray can clear will be ok. And then a couple coats of wax. Took 1 hr or so

I did that (CHECK HERE) and they look GREAT (but one is not sealed properly and gets wet inside). I already have the ebay lights (front and back) because my car came with them, so I want to use them. I miss the clarity and updated look of the ebay lens. I'm not great at this stuff but with a good DIY, I could pull it off. Otherwise, i will pay to have it done.

And you are awesome as well sir! Thank you for serving! (we can assume you are not there for the Buddha Niches or Herat Citadel ;-)

You may have mis-read my post though. My request was for a "fitting clear ebay lenses to OEM housings" DIY. I have already refinished them. My link referencing my lens refinishing job is above. They came out great.

I was inspired by the links you referenced above actually. That's part of the reason I decided to refinish them.
Swapping the lenses is not a direct swap however. People had to modify the lens. I will destroy them if i experiment as this is not my forte.
Now that they are done, i miss the clear lenses from the aftermarket lenses. people have swapped them and people have referenced threads but I have been unable to locate them.

I did see your thread on polishing the lenses, and I tried helping to find some specific useful threads on the ebay lenses.

The only specific CL thread I found offhand was THIS ONE

You could always grab a pair of headlights from the yard and give the lens swap a go, that way you always have your nicely polished ones still on the car ^_^

Oh yeah! that is the plan.
I'm not going to tackle it without some guidance though. I'd likely waste them.
