Default SC300 5-speed 4.08 differential

Selling my original 4.083:1 open differential from my SC 5-speed. It accrued roughly 200,000 miles before I removed it. No issues and it's never seen boost. I owned it for 11k of those miles and always put in Mobil1 standard diff oil. The rubber bushings on the ears are in good shape. The rear companion flange is the correct type for SC300 application.

It's also been cleaned up a fair amount, although not totally as you can see from the pictures.

SOLD SOLD SOLD

PRICE DROP: Asking $120. I'd prefer a local pickup. If you're willing to cover the cost of freight I can make another arrangement but be advised this is about 100lbs.

Looking good Kahn, if I didn't have a spare already I would pick it up - would be nice to know what diffs I have LOL.

I would weld it and make you cringe anyway though;-)

You need anything - may have something extra for the car to trade for it if you wanted?

Maserati-- no problem and thank you!

Bahndrvr-- Nah If you were to pick it up it would be fair game. Thanks! Hmm... as for things to trade... if I were into the engine build I might take you up on that. Thanks though! The R154 swap and clearing out my unneeded heavy spare parts for the sake of having less things to move with are my goals

I can swing 50 if you want it gone.

Not trying to lowball you - but I'm wanting to keep my 3.92 for when I got bigger turbo and get an LSD for it - the 4.08 would be great right now over the 4.27 I have and it would get welded up for my happy medium for a while.

Then I would list my 4.27 setup

Just want that 3.92 I have to be a good setup if that makes sense.

No worries there. I understand I do appreciate the offer but I'll stick closer to my current figure for now. I'm in no hurry.

The 3.92 does make sense to me given what your eventual goals are. It's what I will go with as well down the road when I go with a 2JZGTE swap. Personally I'd keep the 4.08 if I were going 1JZ but I can't so have to let it go
