Are you more concerned with spool or power you can make ? There is always a trade off between the two. What are your power goals ? Start from there... Then you get the turbo you need that will provide the air you want effectively without going overboard so you get a good spool. The correlation between the power a turbo can support and spool are opposite. Bigger turbo, more power but laggy... smaller turbo less power but better spool. No escaping that except adding nitrous or qsv or bigger displacement engine to spool the turbo.
This turbo is rated to 1000hp and more with other mods I believe Reason why it has a 1.05 A./R so it can provide the amount of air needed for combustion at the expense of spool but no doubt can support 1000hp as Garrett puts it on its specs.
Richard, do you know the turbine and compressor wheel sizes ? Need a replacement I can install after dynoeing my 88mm on my dyno queen project. But I just read that it is a T4... damn am using a T6 manifold.
