This is a gated shifter from 2000 SC400 with 113k miles. It comes with wood bezel with ECT, and heated seats buttons. The base of the shifter comes with pigtails and mounting bolts.

** The wood bezel has one broken peg as shown in pic.

Do you know if the climate control on the 2000 will work on the 1992 SC400? I need to replace mind because the LCD on mine is not working at all.

Dennis the climate control of the 3 SC generations are not same. The newer ones have the blower control speed on the climate control (incorporated) whereas the older one has a separate transistorized module for the blower speed control. Pin match up doesn't necessarily means same.

Ask me how I know...hahaha.. send me a text message. You got that Titan Dampener installed yet ?

Btw, I have tried one on the other , AC works but blower is same speed ...in all numbers/level.

The FACE WILL ABSOLUTELY work. Just buy the unit and swap the face. The pin configuration on the back is different. But ANY YEAR SC climate control face will work on your 92 base unit. Trust me. doing it right now with mine

Beyond simple. Unscrew a few screws, disconnect the harness plug, a smaller secondary plug and ground. Reverse is the install and you're done

Dennis & Kevin - you better get a copy of the wiring diagram of that HVAC climate control with that LCD and make sure.

IF you do some research,the replacement LCDs they sell specifically say only for 1992-1996 hvac climate control, upper years are different. Check the popular auction site.

Gerrb, you could be right on that but mine is working great and did on the last two SCs I had also. It started when I got a 95 Nak head unit with the amber lighting (unbeknownst to me) and wanted the HVAC controls to be the same. All the 92 units I could find were bled through. Bought a 95 by mistake, installed and as everyone knows, the fan controls don't work (fan stay running on high). swapped the faces and that saved my bacon. Very difficult to find HVAC bulbs in amber btw. So I just pulled th blue caps off of everything.
