Unhappy New owner/member, first problem.

Does anyone have a Nakamichi amp in excellent condition
and that has never been wet for sale?

I just bought a 1995 SC400 and while driving it home in the
rain the sound system started tapping very badly.

I have owned this car a little over 24 hours and I already
need my first repair.

Any help or guidance will be greatly appreciated.

I would figure out exactally how moisture is getting into the car first.

Yeah, that should be your first task. No point getting a new amp if the moisture continues to be a problem. Check your trunk weather stripping and the drain tube for the fuel filler door. These seem to be the source for most of the amp/moisture problems I'vee seen on the board.

Thumbs up Problem solved

Thanks everyone!
I checked the trunk gasket as well as the two overfow tubes in the wheelwell.
There were no problems that I could find. I changed out the amplifier and
everything works fine.

You guys are great!
