you would have to be throwing in extra money on top of the car to get a decent sc300. especially if you want it in manual. i'm not talking about my sc.. just in general.

good luck, but that in most cases would be a downgrade for an sc owner. Not to dog on the es owners.

I guess im screwed!
When I got my car I thought that the SCs were ugly. Now I think they are the best looking Lexus ever made (tied with the new GSs). The reason I got my car was I wanted to be able to drive my friends around. Now im sick of having such a big car, and want something that less people have. Everyone has a 92-96 ES 300 where I live. It doesn't feel right when I pull up to a stop light and the car to my left and right is the same car as mine.
I know that I can't sell my car because I have wrecked it. I smashed the whole front in. It was $9,000 to fix. I was told by one body shop that it was ready for the junk yard and that they would give $800 for it.
The car looks ok now, but the hood isn't on right and left head light is foggy and the a$sholes that fixed the car ripped the floor mat in the back seat. The glove box is a messed up a little from the air bag going off. Also there is a cigarette burn in the back seat.

That's gonna be a tough sell, amigo. Best bet is to take that beater ES to Carmax and get what you can for it before problems start to show up. Then, take your cash & get what you want. Just my .02
