Default SC4 front lip spoiler

After checking out various alternatives (Kaminari, Erebuni, Wisesport, etc.) for a possible front lip replacement, I've decided to stick with the good ol' OEM front lip at a God forbid price of $450.

Hence, my slightly damaged front lip is for sale. It's cracked on a few spots but it still bolts on to the front bumper tightly on the two sides. I'd say it would be presentable for someone who knows how to fix plastic/rubber.

It's got a very slight shade of dark green on it. The body shop probably accidentally painted it over the spoiler when I repainted the front bumper a while ago.

How's $70 plus shipping for it?

Various pictures of the lip can be seen in:

Thanks.

Jon

Default $450 !!!

Wow- I had no idea they were that expensive!

I am assuming that it can be bought for less, but you chose to buy it at a dealership, right?

Baby ///M3,

Have you bought a new one yet? I went with the 2000 font bumper and my original lip is just hanging in my garage, let me know.

If M3 doesn't need it, I'd buy it, but the shipping charges on something that large won't make it feasible.

It will probably be categorized by UPS as "oversized 2", meaning they will charge the 70 pound rate.

How much did your 2000-style upgrade cost?

Arrrgh!!!!!!

What's the condition of your lip? I bought the lip from the dealer a while ago but haven't had the chance to install it yet.

How much are you asking for it?.... If the price is reasonable, I may just return the new lip to the dealer and buy yours.

Thanks.

Well, yes.

I think I've seen people selling them at junkyards for like $100-$150. But for some reason every time when I checked with a junkyard someone was always a step ahead of me. Arrrgh!

I was supposed to buy from another person on CL as well. But he went a vacation and I missed this deal...

Oh well.. at least I got something new for my SC this time.
