Fair Asking Price for 92 SC300 5 Speed/28000 miles ?
Hello,
I am just wondering what a fair asking price should be for my car, if I decide to sell. I know this might belong in the "sales" forum but I am not looking to sell, merely find a suggested price from you guys. I will describe the car to the best of my knowledge.
1)1992 SC 300
2) 5 Speed Manual transmission
3)"New" 28000 Mile engine put in. Drove roughly 5000 Miles since
4)Tan Interior
5)Broken Center Vent Problem (still flows air but can't aim)
6)Red Exterior
7)Front leather shows wear but no gouges or tears
8)Rear Leather is mint
9)Needs new stock CD Changer
10)Heated Seats
11)Power Everything
12)Air Conditioned
13)New Clutch with around 5000 miles on it
14)Suspension still feels awesome (I am looking to replace with the Supra Tokico Set)
15)Everything else on car has roguhly 139000 miles on it besides engien and clutch.
16) 4-5 Very small exterior door dings, Dealer tried covering a spot with touch up paint on driver door (Looks crappy) small though
O.K. guys, it's in your hands now. Please let me know what you think. I'll save you any questions right now about the engine. I over rev-d the old engine. I was used to my B16 Crx....this was in the first few days of my SC dealings. I blew a rod bearing...I just replaced the engine. Everything else is fine. Please give me you ideas and I will definitley listen. Any questions please ask. I AM NOT LOOKING TO SELL RIGHT NOW, unless there is some crazy good offer I will, I still need to get to school and all and this is my only means of transportation. I will seriously consider decent offers based on what you guys say, however this is more so I can get a feel of what I'm working with in say 4-6 months.

Why do you have a new engine? Do you have any receipts of the new engine...
If the car is clean and not salvage and has not been in an accident, give me a PM...I might be interested...
Personally, I would say the car is worth around 9k...

Just so you know, you should be able to fix the center vent problem fairly easily and cheaply. After 91, they changed the design, so you should be able to pick up the part you need for less than $80 new.
