At times turn ignition on everything dead

LOL. Guys. I hope your right. But I went down this rabbit hole because dirty battery terminal contact symptoms are hard/no start, clicking of the starter solenoid relay etc. Not my car is DEAD! But I have been wrong before and will be many more times I'm sure. I hope they get back to us when they do find the problem because like I said, I have never heard of a problem like this on an SC before as they describe and I do like a good problem. 😏

I almost hate to even continue responding on this because I absolutely respect all of you guys. And I know this sounds like I am just being defensive here. But would the door locks work to unlock the car if it was as the video describes? Interior lights until the key is turned? I'm not saying their wrong. But I am making an assumption (we know what assuming gets you) In fact several, that the owner after having had to remove the terminals more than once would have delt with that issue. That's why I did such a deep dive. I sincerely hope that their right. It's the easiest fix. I even considered dirty connection of the main wire to the battery clamp. Not just the clamp not being tight or corroded. That's the recommendation to wiggle the wires and harness. Regardless. I do hope they come back and gives us details of the fix.😉 And thanks for the video. 😁👍

And I just watched the video in full screen mode and the car does indeed have power when the owner first turns on the key. I have never seen anything like that before. If that does turn out to be the issue, I could have saved myself a whole lot of research! Thank You for showing me something I have never seen before In the automotive electrical world.

Do you have one of these to clean the battery posts and terminals?
also, consider coating with dielectric grease…
you might want to consider removing that terminal…seems like they installed it to disconnect the battery without tools…you could leave it on, but coat the contact surfaces with the dielectric grease…it will stop all future corrosion.

Lead Lap
There's a lot of places in that device that would allow corrosion and contamination to get in there and create bad connections. Be sure to clean that up thoroughly also, even the threads on the screws/bolts.

And to end the day I just wanted to say Thank You once again because today I learned something new. I had no idea until I saw the video that those particular symptoms could even be possible. I think the correct repair has been called out and that our job here is done. 😁👍
