Default Oil Filter Wrench

So,

I've got one of these filter wrenches, that I had bought for my S2000:

It fits nicely over the filter for the SC430, but it's just slightly too big and will slip before it loosens the filter, jamming itself on the filter...

If you have one of these that works for your car, would you please let me know where you got it from?

Thanks

I looked but haven’t located the correct size so I just use my hand to loosen the filter…

I use this Motivx Tools Oil Filter Removal Tool. It bites in just right and reliably

Chris

Try lining the inside of your wrench edge with some foam tape, maybe you can build it up enough to grab the filter

I use a CTA 2574 on my Denso 150-2010 filters. I believe that it’s 36mm

Thanks,

That looks very robust.

I like the filter wrench below because it fits two, slightly different sized filters (notice the two-stage design). It has never failed me on my SC430 filters, and I use a variety of premium filter brands.
