Demographic of the SC430 buyer + demand?

I'm in my 40's and have had my sc430 for 2 years. I hope to have this car til I die.
I am much happier in a car that is unique and rarely seen on the road vs a mustang or camaro that is seen at every street light.
The only car I would trade it for would be the LC500, but that one is a soft-top and I prefer the hard-top on the SC.
This is my first lexus and I am glad I chose this over a Mercedes or BMW.

i have actually owned 4 SC430 in the past 15 years and the last one I bought 7 years ago which I still have had 3 different buyers who would have bought my SC (Pearl White) if I didn’t buy the car back then. I actually had to ship the car from FL to CA as most SC I found were just not to my standards with body and paint and repainted etc
The 3 other SC I sold prior was all sold within 1 week with 2-3 buyers wanting the car.
Fast forward to 2023 and I see buyers today for the SC are not really looking for a low mileage clean car. Most buyers today generally just want to pay 10-15K max at the expense of lower quality SCs out there. The SC430 design and shape is again now 7 years older than when I bought my SC and not sure if the styling has aged and only appeal to the 50+ ,60+ crowd but for sure the demographics in my opinion has changed.
Most buyers are in the 50-70’s and sadly not as many die hard SC430 fans out there now

Well, I'm one of those old guys looking (67) but I'm also one looking for a nice low mileage unit, nothing personal but not in white or silver, prefer red or blue but not many of those around. We were going to fly to Nashville this weekend, found a nice low mileage red car with the dark camel interior, even had airline tickets bought, but I pulled the plug when I found some not-so-great notations on the car service report. Oh well the search goes on.
My red SC popped up at a dealership less than 5 miles from my house.

Well, I talked with the seller, and he agreed to put full new set of OEM wheels with new run flats for our original agreed price, so I think we are taking a road trip this weekend. I priced run flats and they are more expensive the big tires on my truck, about $1500 a set. He already had the wheels to replace the damaged ones on the car.

The problem with this is...nobody likes the run-flats, so most owners swap them out as soon as possible after purchasing an SC with them. Maybe just ask him to lower the price for what he was planning to spend on the new wheels and tires. Plus, you can do much better dressing up your SC with a nice set of after-market wheels vs the stock pie-plates.

New guy here shopping for one of these and yes I'm 67. We are wanting a Hardtop convertible with enough room inside to do some traveling and the 430 just seems to fit the bill. I know this doesn't answer your question but thought I'd throw in my 2 cents. Our problem is finding one in an acceptable color combination for us with decently low milage.
