So, I scoured my manuals (owners only) yesterday looking for maintenance procedures on all the roof lifting mechanics and could find not even one reference to it. I'm sure with all the moving parts in there it needs some sort of cleaning/lubrication to keep it operating as it should, yes?
I'm thinking some spray silicone in/on the joints/hinges maybe, what do you guys do?

I use silicon spray and lithium grease.
