I can't get the bumper cover to align perfectly, most likely due to a previous owners bump. When looking at the top edge of the bumper where it surrounds the headlight I notice that it has two holes that would appear to require corresponding nubs from the upper fender portion. Yet, I can feel no nubs. Am I correct in assuming a nub must be broken off, or does it maintain its positioning in some way by that thin metal clasp? Any advice on fitting the bumper cover would be appreciated. TYIA
The FSM shows 6 screws: one in each fender and 4 along bottom front. Then 4 clips: two each side of the headlights. Maybe a pic will help you decide if you are missing something.
Thanks for the replies. It appears that I have everything and it must be a matter of alignment. I'll have to remove the cover and try to reset it. It just seemed that the top lip and bottom lip should have some type of alignment insert or something (in my mind).
