I have looked all over the web, via Google, for what should be simple info. I have a 2003 sc430. Purchased it w/o a spare, and it evidently never had one.
I bought a wheel and tire for $200. New, never put on the ground. I don't care about pretty. I can live with black tire sticking up in the trunk. I just want to know what parts are necessary to mount and hold tire and wheel firmly against back wall of trunk.

Hi I purchased a 2005 SC last year and found myself without a spare tire so....... having this horrid thought of having a flat someday without a spare so.... started to get parts to place a spare in the trunk with proper tie down, tire cover, and the trunk floor mat. Followed the link that Dennis supplied to you and you will do fine. I ordered all the parts from www.megazip.net. It took a month or so to get all the parts because of shipping issues and holiday time but finally got everything, put everything in place in about 45 minutes and now I'm happy and can sleep again.
