Default Radio Options

My NAV screen woks but it is all scratched up! The tilt works but not the door. The ML radio works but doesn't sound great The CD player does not work either. I would like to have a backup camera. Suggestions?

Click on the "Search This Forum" link at the right end of one of the blue bars on home page for this forum. Search for "radio options". You will get an entire page of threads on the subject. The first three are probably not helpful, but the rest of the page of results are all current enough threads to be helpful.
Good luck.

I did! Unfortunately, everyone thinks theirs is the best! That's human nature. I was hoping for a concensus. Simplest, easiest, affordable, etc.. Need to change the NAV Screen too. All crazed!

LexPilot; I had the same question and opted for the SC430mods.com’s latest unit (Gen III). You get to keep your OEM radio functioning and in place and get a CarPlay nav screen that fits right in where the OEM screen goes. It allows the door to close and performs the tilt function as well. It also includes a decent back-up camera. The only downside it the installation requires some detailed instructions but the only thing they provide is a rough-cut video. I suggest checking out the unit and the installation video before you commit. I’m pretty happy with mine though I did have a bad jumper harness that needed to be replaced…which they did, no questions asked.

Good luck!

You can install android unit instead of you nav screen. You will have modern multimedia, navi, YouTube and etc.

Neil, you may have already done so, but if not, it would be helpful to other members of SC430Mods.com Facebook page if you posted information about your installation.
