thanks a bunch guys i solved the cigarette lighter issue... some how got disconnected under the dash... know i gotta figure out why i gotta manualy realease the trunk cause that switch doesnt work, oh btw i ordered coilovers so by the time this is all said and done like 40% of the car is gonna be new :/.

I think it might be the same fuse. Maybe they unplugged the cig lighter because it kept blowing the fuse.

Does your fuel door still open?

just need the chrome piece and the tabs to connect em...
oh btw this happened this morning any idea where to get one besides the dealer, im having my coil overs installed this week so funds are low, i figure get a whole new grill or at least the top chrome part of the grill the one that came off before I fully dedicated any serious coin to the cosmetics....btw i dont celebrate birthdays, but i feel like this is a nice kick in the nuts to start of a new year of my life...

Same thing happened to me. Do you have the piece that came off. Any interest in trying to reattach it?

i do have the piece, but it seems to be held together there by some kind of clamps which are obviously broken, unless I break out the super glue and maybe have some help I might be able to reattached it.

These clips slide into slots on the back of the chrome piece. There is a chance some of the slots still might be good. You can squeeze the clips from the other side to get them out. You can try to glue the clips to the chrome piece and see if that works.
You can also try double sided tape along with the clips for a belt and suspender approach.

My slots were too far gone, but the 3m automotive double sided molding tape worked

the one thing about this hood piece is all the trim pieces that slide into places are broken as so do the panel they side into to. i will probably end up bending over at the dealer and ordering the both pieces...will keep u updated btw my coil overs were supposed to be installed but due to rain could not be done... will keep posted. I got megans....
