I had my motor and tranny mounts changed at 104k miles. Need detected via vibration when you hit the gas with the trans in neutral. Much improved since we got the three mounts changed out.

The motor mounts were flagged last fall when I bought the car. I was in no hurry to do them over the winter. Agree that 50k is a short lifespan, but it’s an 18 year old car. The mounts are rubber and have a history of wearing out. Just one of things I knew I would need to do when I bought the car.

I've read every single entry in this forum and don't remember any discussions about motor mounts being problematic on these cars.
All I'm saying is don't replace the mounts unless you know they have failed.
Good luck with the car.

I would not replace motor mounts at 50 k miles. Save the money for items like shocks and struts.

Search motor mounts and you’ll find posts asking why mounts go bad on low mileage SCs and the common response is they wear out due to age.

It's a PIA to replace so not many people do it even if they know those are torn. You have to lift the engine and drop the sub frame to replace the pairs.
They are made by rubber, after a while, they crack.
