Default Replaced both upper control arms

I replaced both upper control arms today and then had it aligned. I was very surprised in the difference in the feel of the steering. Much tighter. My left upper failed inspection at 156K so I decided to do both at the same time. I had no idea that the steering had deteriorated to the extent it had. Just an FYI.

Yes, it is remarkable how much deterioration you can gradually compensate for over time. After I rebuilt my suspension, I was pleasantly surprised to find driving so much less fatiguing. Felt like the mental effort to go straight down the road dropped in half. Had gotten used to continually correcting for random drifts of the old suspension.

I replaced my entire suspension, upper and lower control arms as well as the tie rods and struts, huge difference in the ride and steering

I've done everything on the front suspension except the uppers. How hard was it?

Actually, pretty easy. Just two bolts at the top and one on the ball joint. The biggest challenge is breaking the ball joint free. I just used a 3 pound hammer rather than a removal tool.
