Default Seat setting and radio station save during battery change

Have any of you used one of the setting maintainers for battery changes. They come in both OBD and aux power connections. Most use a 9 volt battery. Just curious.

In most Toyota/Lexus vehicles, power to the power ports is cut off when the engine is turned off. Thus, a battery saver in a power port will not help. The obd device may work but I have not tried it.

I hooked a dc bench power supply to the connections when I swapped batteries.

I was surprised to see it drawing 120 mA.

I presume the battery cables. You would only need to connect the positive cable. Many positive terminals have a bolt you can tap into. The negative can be attached to any ground point.
