Slightly OT... Who's gonna be the first to swap a GTE motor in an SC430?

Default Slightly OT... Who's gonna be the first to swap a GTE motor in an SC430?

You *know* you want it.... It's just a matter of time. I couldn't think of a cooler project.

I guess we'll have to wait a few years for the used 430's to come down in price.

I seriously considered it, couldn't find one with a popped motor, damn Lexus reliability!

Now that would be a pricey project. Prob cost over $50k with everything. Would be cool though.

How much does the SC430 weigh?

That would be a cool swap. But I would rather lower the compression and do a TT v-8... that OBDIII sucks though I bet.

it would also cost a $h1t load of money.

...y not just twin supercharge it like blitz if you got that kinda money?
