Default Wind Noise?

I just noticed that I am getting noise inside the cabin when the roof is up. I am not sure if it is wind noise or because of my tires. Is anyone experiencing the same? The noise is very annoying. Is there anything that can be done?

What tires are you running on?

What is your mileage?

I bet its the tires, those B'Stones get loud when they wear

It's the original Bridgestone runflats at 34K miles.

What kind of tread depth do you have left? They surely must be at the end of road.

My advice, get some new tires. Michelin Pilot Sports A/S or Regular and then take a listen, I bet it will be as quiet as a mouse.

You're right they are not R/F's. Your choices are then limited to the Bridgestones or a Dunlop, I think there was an extended mobilty tire from Goodyear but I don't know about sizing availabilty.

I won't go back to run right now, I HATED the stock tires from B'Stone

Good luck

I have the Dunlops, and am happy with them, but only have 600 miles on the car.
Keep in mind the Dunlops are an all-season tire, compared to the performance-oriented Bridgestones, so they have to be quieter. They're the 5000 series, which don't have a great looking tread pattern, but it's nice nonetheless, and has a proven track record. There's no other choice on our size, but I also heard Bridgestone upgraded their offering, but don't know in which way.
Good luck.

1Ton,
are you advising that you have 34K miles on your original Bridgestone funflats? If so, that is the best mileage that I have read about on this forum for those tires.

flatfoot,

Yes, 34K with original tires on them. What is the average?
