I was pulled over 3 times in 1 1/2 years in my white LX and none in the red SC in the same amount of time. Knock on wood.

My personal favorites (from somebody who'll be able to hopefully replace his ES with a CPO SC430 in a couple of years ) : Silver/Saddle (saw it in those full page color ads Lexus was running in the Wall Street Journal last year), then saw pics of DSeags, followed by Indigo/Saddle. Black/Saddle is also very nice, but my ES is black, and I know all too well the frustrations of keeping it clean. I guess I'm just a huge fan of the Saddle, so whatever exterior color, Saddle would be the choice.

Other combos I like, but don't involve Saddle: Red/Ecru, Silver/Black, Indigo/Ecru.

you mean you don't like the red with saddle interior? I love that one! ...just that I had the more classic red with black leather...

against my best judgment I finally got a 04 Black/Ecru, IN FLORIDA. I'm an idot for getting a dark car in Florida, but I am mainly driving from garage to garage, so it shouldn't be that bad. And hopefully my friends will want to remain my friends and will take care when are in my car. (if they get the interior dirty they're no longer my friends )

I liked the way that color combo looked the best, and hopefully I won't regret it in the future.

Fine and good.....I guess we'll take your word for it if you say that 3 out of 5 times you got pulled over in a red car, but I don't understand the sense of it. You're either speeding or you're not.....what color your car is painted has nothing to do with how fast you actually drive. The worst speeder I ever rode with drove a 10-year-old ice blue-silver Tercel. He also had a bright red MR2 Turbo and got more tickets with the Tercel than he did with the MR2.
This idea that red and yellow cars attract cops is a lot of baloney....how you drive them is what attracts cops.

Well, marshall, I can speak only from experience. When I had my red P1800, cops seemed to follow me waiting for me to do something wrong. The four times I was stopped for speeding I was going only 10 mph over the limit. I've driven much faster in other cars with no problem., and I'll bet that I've been clocked at 10mph over the limit many many times without ever being stopped.

Let me add another dimension to the topic. The day I purchased my red P1800, I stopped by to show it to my brother whose buddy, "Moose", a NYS trooper, was visiting at the time. "Hey, Moose, come on out and take a look at my brother's new car." Moose took a long look and said, "I'd give him a ticket even if he was stopped because he looks like he's speeding." I laughed, not realizing what the future held.

I like the silver with saddle interior best. It seems to compliment the car, and it always looks clean.

I got the 04 Black/Ecru - THE BEST LOOKING COLOR COMBO, AND BY FAR, THE WORST ONE TO MAINTAIN.

What the hell was i thinking? The Black looks very classy, but I have to be out there washing it every week. The Ecru interior i'm guessing is just a matter of time until it becomes filthy. Should have gone with my instinct and purchased the silver/black, like my other 4 previous cars (I thought i wanted a change).

BLACK exterior is the best! When I first looked at the SC, the RED was my first choice but I am so glad I did not get the RED. I ended up getting the BLACK and LOVE IT! I know you have to clean it every week but I would clean it everyday if I had to.

I think the color you pick should depend on your personality. I chose BLACK over RED because it is sporty and classy at the same time. RED reminds me of bimbos (sorry, but all the RED cars I saw was always a blonde driving). Plus Black matches with whatever you wear! I know guys don't worry about that as much.

I chose the black interior because I had the Silver Sport edition on the RX300 and loved the black interior. SILVER and BLACK is also an awesome combo. The silver won't get the shine like you do in a black car.

Once the popup window comes up, with the "page is not available", go to the address box of that page and click ENTER once again... It will display the image correctly. I just didn't have time to set up an index file.

None of your choices are my favorite. I prefer the Black on black.

Beautiful car MarsB007! What's that, and M Class in the garage? Where's the LX to match to the SC?

I was finally able to view the pics. Looks sharp. Mars, the houses and driveway looks like you live in FL. Am I right? I'll have to post my pics soon.

Jayson, I agree, I have the black on black myself.

Question...What is the difference in the rims? Is it the year or something? My factory rims are round chrome disc in the center, not like the ones Mars has.
