Tein Flex kit for SC430? Same as GS or no?
Hi guys,
I've been reading through the Tein threads here like crazy, and everything I've read says the Tein Flex kit for the GS 300/400/430 is exactly the same as the one for the SC430, and that the EDFC works perfectly with the Flex and SC430...
Is this true, or not?
I started looking for a used Tein Flex GS kit in the classifieds section, and Romin (who seems very knowledgeable!) thinks the kits are different, and at least the spring rates seem to be...Can anyone shed some light on this? I'd hate to get the wrong kit!
Thanks...

Ok, I ask for advice I take advice.
The Flex kit sounds great, but if you guys (the experts) say the CS kit is better, then the CS kit it is.
The only reason I wanted the flex w/EDFC was for the neeto gadget feature really.
NOW, who has the best price on a CS kit? (and is THAT the same as the GS kit? or specific for the SC430?)
Thanks!

and on tein's site, there is just no flex system for the GS at all. CS is the ONLY system available for the SC. so the question of whether the flex for the SC is the same as the GS isn't even a valid question imho

We are a dealer for Tein and ride quality and performance are hard to have correct. I personally like the flex system I don't think there is a suspension system out there that can be considered to be better especially when teamed with an EDFC. The flex system allows you to change spring rates and valving if needed. If you are interested we could order you a set of Flex with say CS spring rates instead of the Flex spring rates. The difference between the flex and CS is pillow ball mounts.
We have a set of CS on the SC430 but we much rather have the Flexes on it instead. We expect to have to tune the suspension down the road and did not try installing the Flexes. We can post on what we find that is a long term goal of ours for that project car.
Once the car is broken in its going Road Atlanta so it has to be able to handle :-) And we expect to have to put in some time to get it properly dialed in.
Good luck with it all.
