Hot air from the vent when it's cooler outside

My '04 has 600 miles and since new, whenever I turn on just the fan in either recirculate or vent, and have the temperature at 65 both side (A/C and heat off), the air that comes out of the vent is much hotter than the air outside which is around 85-90 F. I live in AZ and 85-90 is very comfortable and sometimes I don't feel like putting the top down and just want the fan. Also when I turn on just the fan, the smell of the air from the vent is different - almost like something burning or overheating. Has anyone seen this condition? Thanks for any information you can share!

mykotse,
same thing happens with my GS, LS, and benz... esp the benz!!! the weather on Guam is around 85-90 every day... if the car is sitting out in the sun or even when it is sitting in the shade... as soon as the engine warms up, the air that comes out of the vent, if it is only on fan is warmer than the outside air. I think the duct runs where the engine goes... small cramped spaces ya know... and heat tends to emanate/diffuse everywhere...
Now, if you turn on the AC and it still warm, something wrong man... If it is hot like that....what I usually do to cool up the air is run the AC for a while then shut it off... this usually keeps the air cool for the rest of my journey.
